Wiltshire Weekend

Wiltshire and the Southern Cotswolds is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty yet it remains largely undiscovered and has a wealth of interesting tracks and footpaths. The chalk Wiltshire Downs are a haven for wild life and endemic flora. The Downs enable the walker to experience breathtaking Wiltshire scenery whilst the villages with their thatched roofs and warm stone walls are a pleasure to see.

This short weekend break of walks will enable you to see some of the historic and interesting countryside of this delightful part of Wiltshire Cotswolds. You will have the opportunity to visit the interesting village of Castle Combe and the picturesque National Trust village of Lacock which has been the setting for many a well known film and TV series.

Your accommodation will be at the 3 star Leigh Park Hotel which is located on the outskirts of the historic market town of Bradford on Avon, within walking distance of this interesting town. It is nine miles from the City of Bath.

Your own transport is required to enjoy this holiday.
